Let me introduce myself

I am a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with subspecialty training in Gynecologic Oncology Surgery. My clinical work centers on the diagnosis, surgical treatment and follow-up of cervical, uterine and ovarian cancers, and on the evaluation of HPV-related changes of the cervix.

I completed my medical education at Ege University and my specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Pamukkale University, and then worked at Adıyaman University. I completed my Gynecologic Oncology subspecialty training at the University of Health Sciences İzmir Tepecik Training and Research Hospital. After Şanlıurfa Eyyübiye Training and Research Hospital, I worked at the University of Health Sciences Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal City Hospital in Istanbul from 2018 to 2026; I became an associate professor in 2021 and from 2022 served as the clinic's administrative and education coordinator. Since August 2026 I have been working in gynecologic oncology at Bakırçay University Çiğli Training and Research Hospital, İzmir.

One thing I often see in clinic: a test result or a diagnosis frequently looks more frightening than it is, simply because information is missing. I prepared this site so that my patients, and anyone who is curious, can read about these topics in clear language based on scientific sources. The information here does not replace an examination, but it can help you come to your appointment better prepared and with less worry.

My approach

I believe medicine means understanding not only the disease but also the patient's worry. I care about making complex women's health topics easier to understand and about helping my patients make decisions with accurate, up-to-date and clear information.
